You will make a variety of arrangements suitable for weddings such as table arrangements, bridal bouquets, buttonholes and corsages, pew ends and church flowers using a variety of floristry techniques. Suitable for all levels of ability.

What I'll learn

You will learn the following:

  • Conditioning and preparation of plant material.
  • Know the botanical classification and characteristics of fresh plant material and mechanics.
  • Learn the elements and principles of flower design.
  • Wiring and taping techniques to create buttonholes and corsages.
  • Practical experience of constructing a variety of creative arrangements.


How I'll learn

You will learn via a combination of formal instruction, individual tuition, practical demonstration, group discussion and practical experience.


How I'll be assessed

This course is not formally assessed and looks to improve your flower arrangement and decorative skills, knowledge and confidence.
