A course suitable for beginners or those with some experience of flower arranging. You will gain practical experience and learn a wide range of techniques needed to create a variety of contemporary arrangements.

What I'll learn

You will learn the following: 

  • Conditioning and preparation of plant material
  • Know the botanical classification and characteristics of fresh plant material and mechanics
  • Learn the elements and principles of flower design
  • Manipulating foliage
  • Practical experience of constructing a variety of creative arrangements


How I'll learn

You will learn via a combination of formal instruction, practical demonstration, group discussion and practical experience.


How I'll be assessed

This course is not formally assessed and looks to improve your flower arrangement and decorative skills, knowledge and confidence.
