The course is suitable for beginners or those with some experience of flower arranging and will cover a variety of designs and techniques.

What I'll learn

You will learn basic elements and principles of design and create a range of traditional and contemporary flower designs suitable for the home, special occasions and gifts.

There will be a follow on course in January should you wish to continue.


How I'll learn

For the first class you will need to bring scissors, 5/7 focal flowers such as roses, gerbera or similar, 2/3 stems of filler flowers such as chrysanthemums or spray carnations, a bowl or dish approximately 8-10” diameter, selection of garden foliage and floral foam.  Floral and plastic dishes can be purchased from the tutor if required.
