Students are taught using a range of methods including trough tutor-led sessions, real life case studies, class discussions and smaller, group discussions.
As part of our membership of the Gazelle group of colleges, we organise for guest speakers from the world of business to come in and work with our students, as well as take students on educational visits and to enterprise seminars.
Students will also be expected to undertake work experience placements in both year 1 and year 2.
How I'll be assessed
This BTEC course is a practical work and business-related course.
You'll primarily ‘learn by doing’, in other words, completing projects and assignments based on real businesses in the area.
All units are assessed through written and oral assignments. There are two exams each year.
