It gives you highly transferable skills and provides excellent preparation for progression to career opportunities in finance, human resources, marketing and management, or for entry to higher education.

How I'll learn

This course develops and enhances your professionalism in a business context. It develops personal skills alongside knowledge acquisition and its practical application. 

The course will help you to develop entrepreneurial skills and we aim to help you complete an award in work skills as part of the course, to make you more employable when it comes to the competitive jobs market.
 

 

How I'll be assessed

The BTEC Extended Diploma in Business is a practical work and business-related course. All units are assessed through assignments; written and oral. There are no exams.

 

Entry Requirements

You will neeed five or more GCSEs grades A*-C (or equivalent), including English and maths, or BTEC Level 2 Diploma grade Merit or Distinction plus GCSE grade C or above or Functional Skills at Level 2 in English and maths
