Learn and explore the art of glass fusion in an intensive and focused one-day course.

Glass fusing is the technique of joining two or more pieces of glass by heat in a kiln to produce a huge range of art pieces, from jewellery to bowls, sculptures, panels and ornaments.

Once these simple process is mastered there is really no limit to the creative potential of this amazing material.

During the day you will achieve an introduction to the art of glass fusion. We will cover cutting, re-active and iridescent fusing, creating texture, assembly, kiln firing, glass properties etc and in-depth discussion throughout.

What I'll learn

You will gain the basics of glass fusion, enabling you to produce your own work using a wide variety of both skills and principles taught throughout the session.

How I'll learn

No prior knowledge or experience needed. Glass will be provided.

You can expand your Glass fusing skills with our other L4L Glass courses on offer.

Entry Requirements

Due to the kiln time required to produce it is not always possible to take work home on the day it is made. Work can be collected at a separate time by arrangement.
