Want to improve and develop established ideas, or explore your interest in illustration?

This five-week course takes a broad view of illustration - sitting between fine art and graphics, it involves artwork needed for magazines, CD covers, books, cards, posters, the internet and other brief-driven uses.

This course will focus on how you can develop your ideas and your own visual language. You will learn about learning the processes and techniques to communicate ideas through hand-drawn image-making.

Boost your creativity by using pencil, ink, paint and exploring many other materials, while understanding the basics of visual communication.

What I'll learn

You will learn about learning the processes and techniques to communicate ideas through hand- drawn image-making.

To communicate ideas, you will need to develop a visual language and drawing development is the key to unlocking your creative success in any given field.

If you are interested in expanding your portfolio, this is a fantastic opportunity too!
