Associate Artists Printmaking (20 Sessions)

Work independently and explore your ideas and practice in printmaking at our studios.

Processes available in the studio include: screen printing, relief printing (lino etc.), drypoint, mono printing, collagraph, and engraving amongst others.

We will provide, tools, equipment, technical support and guidance from one of our experienced staff. We will have basic materials available for you to use. However, you can also bring your own materials or we can supply a range of materials to you for an additional cost.

 

You can make use of our workshop over 10 Saturdays (2-5pm) across any of the dates as follows:

What I'll learn

The Associate artist printmaking scheme will both facilitate the practical, hands-on approach as well as being a resource for educational and creative development, provided by peers and our technical support.

 

How I'll learn

Our spacious and well-equipped printmaking studio has facilities for printmakers to work in an extensive range of printing techniques across different media. Processes available in the studio include: screen printing, relief printing (lino etc.), drypoint, mono printing, collagraph, and engraving amongst others.

You would be working independently, exploring your own ideas and practice we will provide, tools, equipment, technical support and guidance from one of our experienced staff. We will have basic materials available for you to use, however you can supply your own if you wish.

 

How I'll be assessed

This is a learning for leisure course. There are no assessments or qualifications as part of this course. 

 

Entry Requirements

An understanding of printmaking and the creative possibilities it offers is necessary for this course.
