You've got the basic skills, now take your artistic expression to the next level and gain confidence in your skills.

This is an intermediate course covering development of:

  • drawing skills
  • colour work
  • a variety of media techniques
  • composition
  • perspective

This will enable you to build the confidence in your skills that you need to express yourself fully through your art and work independently.

What I'll learn

Students will learn to develop basic their drawing skills through tonal studies and extension of knowledge of colour mixing to a wider palette. They will develop their basic knowledge of composition and perspective through practise and extension of skills and techniques of a variety of media.

B-6B sketching pencils, A4 sketchbook, charcoal & putty rubber, Acrylics starter set and Acrylic brushes, Watercolour starter set of paints and size 8 round brush, Watercolour pad 140lb, chalk

Pastels, dip pen and drawing ink.


Entry Requirements

This course is suitable for students who have completed at least a year of Art: Beginners.
