Get an introduction to 3D printing before designing and printing your own small object using free software!

This exciting course will introduce you to the world of 3D printing!

You will be introduced to the concept of 3D printing and using freely available software to design and print a small object.

Participants will be able to print their own object to take away.

The course will run on two consecutive Saturdays from 10am–1pm and is aimed at those with little or no experience of 3D design and 3D printing.

After you have completed this course, why not take your skills to the next level with Design and Print a 3D Object. On that course, you will design your own object using freely available 3D design software and print it on one of the college’s 3D printers.

  • How to prepare a design to be printed on one of the college’s 3D printers
