Developing the skills to think on your feet, work as a team, and perform a live spontaneous improvised performance with the help of audience participation of course.

What I'll learn

You will learn how to build scenes instantly, how to develop characters and how to work as a team. You will also gain the understanding of the building blocks of Improvisation and how to use them in a performance.


How I'll learn

There are several types of improvisation methods and formats. We will be using “Spolin” method as taught to create short form scenes.

The course tutor, Adam Goldstein, trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. Adam received his improvisation training at Improvisation Mecca: Second City – Chicago, where he also ran improvisation workshops around the Chicago area.


How I'll be assessed

There is no formal assessment.
