Once awarded the Access to HE Diploma, students will be able to start a university degree, provided they have met the entrance criteria for their chosen universities.

The course offers the opportunity to study a range of humanities subjects at Level 3 (equivalent to A Levels) as well as the chance to re-take or achieve qualifications in GCSE English or GCSE Maths.

In addition to this, all students are offered tuition in study skills and tutorial support in order to develop their skills.

Assessment on the Access to HE Business Professions programme is via a combination of exams (approximately 30%) and coursework (approximately 70%).

Assessments are a mixture of:

  • essays
  • structured questions
  • projects
  • presentations
  • examinations
