Specialists in motorsports and motor vehicle

Our Banbury campus is now also home to our new centre for high-performance engineering, bringing together our motor vehicle and motorsports engineering programmes.

Our teaching staff have excellent links with the motorsport industry, which will help you progress into apprenticeships and jobs. Students from this programme have gone on to work in every Formula 1 team in the country.

Bicester Heritage

Our partnership with Bicester Heritage allows you to take advantage of tailored classic vehicle restoration programmes; the only programmes of this type in the UK. The centre is dedicatated to the restoration, storage and enjoyment of vintage and classic cars, motorcycles and aeroplanes.

This unique opportunity offers students and apprentices access to a centre brimming with classic and historic vehicles, esteemed enthusiasts and suppliers.

Our renovated Banbury Campus on Broughton Road provides exciting facilities for a learning experience that will transform your future:

  • A remodelled creative arts centre, offering bright, open plan workshops for fashion, ceramics and visual arts, a photography studio and exhibition spaces
  • A creative media centre with television and radio studios, Mac suites for graphic design and a cinema room for showcasing student work
  • A new centre for high performance engineering, bringing together our motor vehicle and motorsports engineering programmes. The centre is fitted out with the latest engine diagnostic facilities and vehicle lifts. Our partnership with Hyundai gives you the chance to train on newly registered vehicles.

In and around Banbury and Bicester

Banbury is a market town and industrial centre in northern Oxfordshire. It is 64 miles (103 km) from London and 21 miles (34 km) from Oxford.

Bicester is a historic market town in Oxfordshire, around 12 miles from Oxford. It has a number of places of historic interest, great access to the countryside and to neighbouring towns, as well as excellent shopping facilities, including Bicester Village Designer Outlet.


Banbury and Bicester are situated in north Oxfordshire, with easy access to Oxford. Oxford is ideally placed - well connected to cities and airports, including London Heathrow.

Banbury campus

Banbury and Bicester College has a campus near Banbury’s town centre on Broughton Road, as well as specialist classic vehicle programmes at Bicester Heritage.

Walk and cycle 

Banbury campus is a 10-minute walk from Banbury town centre.

We actively encourage our students to cycle to college and there is plenty of bike parking available on-site and cycle lanes locally.

Bus and train 

If walking or cycling isn't an option, Banbury campus is well served by local buses, including the B5 and B9. Oxfordshire has a large bus network, with stops in town centres across the region. Regular bus services stop in Banbury town centre, just a short walk from Banbury campus.

If you are jumping on the train, Banbury campus is a 15-minute walk from Banbury train station. The station is well-connected to areas including Bicester, Birmingham, Leamington Spa, London, Oxford and Warwick, and trains are very frequent. Connections are available to every other major city and town.


On the M40, take Junction 11 into Banbury and follow the A361 until you get to the Banbury Cross monument roundabout. Once there, take the exit for B4035 and follow this road round, you will see the Banbury campus reception on your right-hand side. Banbury campus offers limited parking and students are welcome to park in the arts and media car park.

Bicester Heritage

Walk and cycle 

Bicester Heritage is a 25-minute walk Bicester town centre. However, we recommend students cycle to Bicester Heritage where there is bike parking available on-site.

Bus and train 

If walking or cycling isn't an option, Bicester Heritage is served by the X5 bus from Oxford city centre.

If you are jumping on the train, Bicester Heritage is a 20-minute walk from Bicester North Station.


Bicester Heritage is located 4 miles from either Junction 9 or 10 off the M40, head for postcode OX26 5HA.
