Our accountancy pathway combines two advanced stage programme qualifications, the AAT Diploma for Accounting Technicians and the Diploma in Business, Accountancy Pathway. The AAT (the professional body for accounting technicians) is recognised internationally as a foundation for achieving chartered accountancy status.

With our career pathway in accountancy, you could access a range of exciting careers, including:

  • Credit control assistant: Assist in coordinating the debts of existing creditors and manage all money borrowed from or owed to your business. 
  • Bookkeeper: be responsible for a business’ accounts, recording costs and income, as well as produce financial statements and other reports for supervisors and managers.
  • Chartered accountant: provide financial advice and services to clients. You can work within a business or as a freelancer, working on auditing, accounting, financial analysis, risk management and generally steering an organization towards profitability and efficiency.
  • Finance manager: develop strategies and plans for the long-term financial goals of an organization. Management investments and produce reports for managers and be responsible for the financial health of an organization.
